The Valle D'Aosta Tradition


Philosopher Ludwig Feuerbach used to say “Man is what he eats”. This is why Hotel Lo Scoiattolo offers its guests a variety of meals that are the perfect blend of healthiness and flavour.

Personally managed by Silvana and Azzurra, the restaurant serves a variety of traditional platters from Valle D’Aosta.
Rich, flavourful and made with carefully selected ingredients, these platters will stimulate your palate and give you the energy boost required after enjoying a day of sports or hiking in the Alps.
The restaurant also offers a variety of modern platters and our meals end on a sweet note with our homemade pastries.
These pastries add a dash of sweetness even to our typically English breakfasts (with warm, cold, sweet and salty options; juices; coffee and much more).

To warm up your evening just sit by our cosy fireplace, which has a unique charm of its own. Following the old traditions of Gressoney, every evening is livened up by some grappa, Genepy and Valle D’Aosta style coffee.

Our cellar is well stocked with a broad range of local wines from Valle D’Aosta and even a good selection of prestigious national labels.
